What does it mean to be 'in the green'?In the past, I think of the Green Man, the great forest but now or in the future?
When man abandons, nature reclaims. In the world of futureperfected, parts of the land including 'Epicentre', 'The Zone' and beyond have been left and nature is bringing the land back to green. In The City however, it is man who has made any green that exists. In Roxy's case blues and reds and a myriad of other colours.
The main protagonist of futureperfected lives 'in the green' - survives or exists may be a better description.
As the green encroaches back upon the land, we see futureperfected - unfolding before your very eyes.
